Azores and Back Yacht Race 2011

After Sam White and Richard Raistricks efforts on the race to the Azores the race home will see Sam's first solo ocean race. The competion comprises some of the finest sailors in the UK and thanks to a great race here Sam is still well within sight of a podium finish. This is Yacht racing at its best and of course anything could happen in the next 1250 miles.

Lizard point

Lizard point to our right, one reef in the main. 18kts of breeze from the West. Got soaked changing the Headsail! Going well though and creeping up on the ones were not already in front of. No more moblie reception till Ireland now. Update when we get there - the tracker should be working though.

    Great to have chatted with you on the marina, did you get to the cocktail party in time? Had a look into what you asked, you need to install all software under Administrator profile this will then work under other profiles. Hope this helps and keep the blog going we’re all watching you!!!!
